The Red Ghost is a Russian war drama film directed by Sergei Mokritsky and released in 2017. The film is set during the winter of 1942, at a time when the Nazis had invaded and occupied much of the Soviet Union. The story revolves around a group of Wehrmacht soldiers led by Sergeant Hans Kürschner, who are tasked with hunting down and eliminating a group of Soviet partisans who have been disrupting Nazi supply lines.

As the soldiers track the partisans through the harsh winter landscape of the Eastern Front, they begin to experience a series of unexpected and increasingly brutal encounters. Along the way, they come across a young girl named Katya, who is the sole survivor of a massacre carried out by the partisans. Kürschner takes pity on the girl and promises to protect her, even as tensions between the soldiers and the partisans continue to escalate.

As the day wears on, the group soon realizes that they have become trapped in a deadly game of cat and mouse. With the partisans closing in on them, the soldiers are forced to confront the harsh realities of war and the brutal measures they must take to survive. Ultimately, The Red Ghost is a story of survival, sacrifice, and the human cost of war.
