The Prophecy: Uprising is a supernatural horror movie that was released in 2005. The movie starts with a mysterious man delivering an ancient manuscript called the Lexicon to a group of angels who are planning to prevent the coming of the Anti-Christ.
However, the Lexicon is stolen by a young woman named Allison (played by Kari Wuhrer), who is unaware of its significance. The angels begin to pursue her with the intention of recovering the manuscript. Allison seeks help from an old friend, Father Lucci (played by Jason London), who is a priest with knowledge of the supernatural.
As they race to stay one step ahead of the pursuing angels, Father Lucci and Allison uncover disturbing truths about the Lexicon and its role in the impending battle between Heaven and Hell.
The movie also stars Doug Bradley as the villainous angel Pyriel, John Light as the angel Ariel, and Sean Pertwee as an enigmatic demon named Stark. The film is directed by Joel Soisson and features intense action scenes and dark supernatural themes.
