Allison, a young woman with mysterious powers, is in possession of the Prophet Lexicon, a bible that contains the name of the Antichrist. The renegade angel Thrones, led by the envious Stark, want the information in order to bring about the apocalypse and fulfill their own ambitions. They hire Dylan, a ruthless hitman, to retrieve the Lexicon from Allison.
However, when Dylan and Allison meet, Dylan becomes inexplicably drawn to her and decides to switch sides. The two team up to fight against the Thrones, including the sadistic and power-hungry Zophael, Allison's former ally who has turned against her.
Allison seeks the help of John Reigart, a former priest and veteran of the previous battles between angels and demons. However, he is reluctant to get involved again, haunted by his own past failures. Satan, who also wants the Antichrist's name for his own purposes, promises to help Allison if she agrees to serve him. Allison refuses, determined to protect the Lexicon at all costs.
