The Prey: Legend Of Karnoctus follows a platoon of American soldiers stationed in Afghanistan who become trapped in a cave system after an IED blast. Once inside the cave, they begin to encounter strange and terrifying creatures that they have never seen before.
As they try to escape, they realize that they are being hunted by a deadly creature that the locals call Karnoctus. According to legend, Karnoctus is a creature that lives deep within the caves and only comes out to hunt when it senses prey nearby.
As the soldiers continue to fight for their survival, they must also come to grips with the fact that they are not alone in the cave system. They soon discover that there are other groups of people who have been trapped in the cave for years, believing that Karnoctus is the only thing preventing them from escaping.
As the soldiers and the other groups band together to try and find a way out, they realize that Karnoctus is not the only threat they face in the depths of the caves, and that they may not make it out alive.
