The Prey is a thriller movie directed by Jimmy Henderson and stars Gu Shangwei, Byron Bishop, Nophand Boonyai and Sahajak Boonthanakit. The story is about a Chinese businessman, Xin (played by Gu Shangwei), who is wrongfully arrested and thrown into a Cambodian prison. The prison is run by sadistic guards who take pleasure in torturing the inmates.
Xin learns quickly that he needs to survive in this deadly environment. One day, he is taken from his cell and sent to a remote jungle, where he realizes that it is all part of a twisted game organized by a group of wealthy American businessmen who hunt humans for sport. They have illegally purchased prisoners from the jail and forced them to fight for their lives in the jungle.
Xin is given the choice to fight in this dangerous game or die. With no other choice, he agrees to participate. He meets other prisoners who have also been forced to play the game, including a strong-willed woman named Papin (played by Dy Sonita). Together, they join forces and plan to escape the treacherous jungle and bring justice to those who have wronged them.
As they journey through the jungle, they are hunted by the wealthy businessmen, who have all the latest weapons and technology at their disposal. Xin and Papin must use their survival skills to evade capture and find a way out of the jungle.
