"The Postcard Killings" is a psychological thriller mystery film that follows the story of Jacob Kanon, a New York detective who travels to London to investigate the death of his daughter and son-in-law. He discovers that they were brutally murdered, and the crime scene is decorated with a postcard.
Kanon refuses to believe that his daughter's murder was an isolated incident, and he starts to connect the dots with other similar murders in different European countries. In his quest to unravel the mystery, he enlists the help of a Scandinavian journalist named Dessie Larsson, who has been covering the story of the postcard killings.
Together, they set out to piece together the clues and uncover the truth behind the murders. But as they dig deeper, they begin to uncover a disturbing pattern that leads them to question their own safety and the motives of everyone around them.
"The Postcard Killings" stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jacob Kanon, Famke Janssen as Rachel Kanon (Jacob's wife), and Cush Jumbo as Dessie Larsson. It is directed by Danis Tanovic and based on the book of the same name by James Patterson and Liza Marklund. The film takes the audience on a thrilling ride through multiple European countries, giving them a glimpse into the minds of both the killer and the investigators.
