The Poof Point is a Disney Channel Original Movie, released in 2001, directed by Neal Israel and starring Mark Curry and Dawnn Lewis. The movie follows the story of two scientists, Waddles (played by Curry) and Marigold (played by Lewis), who invent a time machine called "The Wrinkle in Time".
But before they can test the machine, they accidentally drop a critical part, called the "poof point", out of it. The scientists don't realize the part is missing, and they get into the time machine to test it anyway. Nothing seems to happen at first, but when they wake up the next day, they find that they are regressing in age both mentally and physically.
As they gradually become younger, the two scientists have to face the challenges of being kids again, as they try to find a way to reverse the effects and get back to their normal age. They also have to keep their situation a secret from their families and friends and avoid suspicion.
Along the way, they meet a group of kids who help them to find the missing poof point, and they eventually realize that they need to recreate the poof point in order to reverse the effects of the time machine. The movie ends with the scientists getting back to their normal age, with a renewed appreciation for life and a better understanding of the importance of living in the moment.
