Lizzie, a successful career woman, is about to marry her long-time boyfriend, Tom, in a breathtaking destination wedding in Hawaii. She chooses her childhood friend, Marshall, to be her "Male of Honor" instead of a typical maid of honor. Marshall has always been in love with Lizzie and sees the wedding as his last chance to win her heart.
Unknown to Lizzie, Marshall's ex-girlfriend Marie, who he detests, is coming as his plus one. Marie is determined to win Marshall back and stop the wedding from happening. She convinces Marshall to help her sabotage the wedding by creating a series of comical and outrageous pranks.
As Lizzie and Tom's wedding day approaches, things start to go awry. The caterer cancels, the band gets stuck in traffic, and Lizzie's wedding dress goes missing. Marie takes advantage of the chaos to escalate her plan to ruin the wedding. Meanwhile, Marshall begins to realize the mistake he made, and his true feelings for Lizzie.
In the end, Lizzie and Tom's love prevails, and they marry surrounded by their closest friends and family. Marshall reconciles with Lizzie and apologizes for his actions.
