The Planters is a quirky comedy-drama film written, produced, and directed by film-making duo Alexandra Kotcheff and Hannah Leder. The film follows the life of Martha Plant, a telemarketer who is struggling to make sales and dealing with the loss of her parents. Martha's life changes when she meets Sadie Mayflower, a homeless woman who has multiple personalities and believes she's an alien from outer space.
