The Perfect Furlough is a 1958 romantic comedy film directed and produced by Blake Edwards. The film stars Tony Curtis as Private Paul Hodges, a handsome but lonely soldier stationed at an Arctic base, who wins a two-week furlough to Paris as a reward for his outstanding service.
However, due to concerns about Hodges' reckless behavior and womanizing tendencies, military psychologist Lieutenant Vicki Loren (played by Janet Leigh) is assigned to accompany him as a chaperone and keep him out of trouble.
