The Pastor and the Pro is a romantic comedy film that explores the unlikely relationship between a young pastor and a prostitute. The movie follows Pastor Mike (played by Travis Grant), who is a single and devoutly religious man. When he needs a date for a church dinner, he hires a neighbor next door, Lila (played by Kelly Cunningham), who works as a prostitute. Initially, Mike is hesitant to work with Lila, but he soon finds himself drawn to her charming personality and wit.
As Lila and Mike begin to spend more time together, their relationship becomes more complicated. Lila starts to demand more money and extravagant gifts from Mike, which he struggles to keep up with on his modest pastor's salary. Moreover, while Mike becomes increasingly attracted to Lila, he worries about the morality of his relationship with a woman who makes her living by selling her body.
