The Negotiation is a South Korean thriller film that was released in 2018. The film is directed by Lee Jong-seok and stars actors Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin in the lead roles.
The story of the movie centers around Chae-yoon, who is an experienced crisis negotiator. She is called to the scene where her supervisor is taken hostage by Tae-gu, an intelligent and cold-blooded criminal who wants to use the hostage as leverage to secure his escape from the police. Tae-gu has set a deadline of 21 hours for the police to meet his demands.
