The Names of Love, also known as Le Nom des gens, is a French romantic comedy directed by Michel Leclerc and released in 2010. The movie stars Jacques Gamblin as Arthur Martin and Sara Forestier as Bahia Benmahmoud.
Bahia is a politically active young woman who believes in using sex to convert conservative men to her progressive beliefs. She has a long list of former conquests who she says have become more liberal after spending time with her. However, her methods are put to the test when she meets Arthur, a mild-mannered, middle-aged scientist who seems to be her opposite in every way.
Despite their differences, Arthur and Bahia begin a relationship that challenges both of them to confront their assumptions and prejudices. Arthur is Jewish and has family members who were killed in the Holocaust, so he is initially wary of Bahia's Arab heritage. Meanwhile, Bahia discovers that Arthur is not as conservative as she assumed and has a secret history that complicates their relationship.
