The Naked Wanderer follows the journey of 24-year-old Jake (played by Angus McLaren), who is left heartbroken after his girlfriend dumps him for another man. To make matters worse, he discovers that she is getting married in a couple of months.
In a desperate attempt to win her back, Jake decides to walk 4000km up the coast of Western Australia in nothing but his birthday suit, all while raising money for a local breast cancer charity.
Along the way, Jake encounters a range of colorful characters, from a group of nudists to a family of sheep farmers, and begins to learn more about himself and what truly matters in life.
As the media catches wind of Jake's naked adventure, his ex-girlfriend (played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo) starts to take notice, and Jake begins to believe that he may have a chance of winning her back.
But as he continues his journey, Jake begins to realize that his true goal is not to make his ex jealous, but to find peace and happiness within himself.
Directed by Alan Lindsay, The Naked Wanderer is a heartwarming and inspiring film about love, loss, and the power of self-discovery.
