The Naked Face is a 1984 thriller film directed by Bryan Forbes and based on a novel by Sidney Sheldon.

Roger Moore stars as Dr. Judd Stevens, a successful Chicago psychiatrist whose life is turned upside down when one of his patients, a young girl named Connie (Anne Archer), is found murdered. Stevens is quickly accused of the crime by detectives Angeli (Rod Steiger) and Morgens (Elliott Gould), who believe he had motive and opportunity.

Despite his pleas of innocence, Stevens finds himself in a dangerous situation as the real killer and a powerful Mafia boss begin to target him. Amidst the chaos, he seeks help from his lover, Anne (Art Metrano), and former patient, Alan (David Hedison), who both assist him in uncovering the truth about the murder and the person responsible.

As Stevens delves further into the investigation, he discovers a horrifying connection between the murder and his own personal life. He realizes that he is not only fighting for his freedom, but for his life as well.

The Naked Face features tense action sequences and psychological thrills, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the film. Moore delivers an excellent performance as the embattled psychiatrist, and the supporting cast delivers strong performances as well. The film received mixed reviews upon release but has since gained a cult following.
