The Mount 2 picks up a year after the events of the first movie, where Philomena and Caroline were brutally murdered by an unknown assailant at the Mount. The police are still investigating the case, but they haven't found any leads or suspects yet.
On Halloween night, a group of five teenagers break into the Mount. They plan on holding a wedding between two of their friends, Jack and Emily, who are in love. The couple met at the Mount the year before and decided that it would be a perfect place to get married.
The group is led by Mike, who is known for organizing wild parties and breaking into deserted places. He brings along his girlfriend, Ashley, and their friends, Chris and Tiffany. The group is excited to have a fun and spooky night at the Mount, but they don't know what they're getting into.
