The Monkey's Paw is a horror film directed by Brett Simmons and released in 2013. The film stars Charles S. Dutton as a pawnbroker who gives Jake Tilton (played by C.J. Thomason) the monkey's paw. Before receiving the paw, Tilton is a struggling young man with a dead-end job and a strained relationship with his wife, Olivia (played by Michelle Pierce).
After receiving the paw, Tilton makes two wishes: for a large sum of money and for his coworker Tony Cobb (played by Stephen Lang) to stay away from him. Both wishes come true, but the second wish has unintended consequences. Cobb, who was killed in a workplace accident, is brought back to life, but he is now a vengeful and violent zombie.
Cobb begins to torment Tilton and his loved ones, forcing Tilton to use his final wish to reunite Cobb with his estranged son. However, this wish also has unintended consequences, as it leads to a violent confrontation between Cobb and his son.
As the film progresses, Tilton becomes increasingly desperate to stop Cobb, who seems to be unstoppable. The film is filled with suspenseful moments and unexpected twists, making it a thrilling horror story.
