The Monkey King 3 is a 2018 Chinese-Hong Kong fantasy film directed by Cheang Pou-soi. It is the third installment of the Monkey King franchise and stars Aaron Kwok as the titular character, alongside William Feng, Zhao Liying, Xiaoshenyang, and Him Law.
The film opens with the Monkey King and his companions, including the monk Tang Sanzang (William Feng), continuing their journey to the West in search of the Buddhist scriptures. However, they soon find themselves trapped in an all-female kingdom ruled by the Queen (Zhao Liying), who believes that they are the ones prophesied to bring about the downfall of her kingdom.
Desperate to escape and continue their quest, the travelers must use all their wits and skills to outsmart the Queen and her army of female warriors. Along the way, they encounter various other obstacles and enemies, including the powerful River God (Him Law), who is angered by their attempts to deceive her.
As the stakes grow higher, the Monkey King must use all his strength and ingenuity to not only save himself and his friends but also prevent the entire kingdom from being destroyed by their actions.
