The Million Eyes of Sumuru, released in 1967, is a British spy-fi film directed by Lindsay Shonteff and produced by Harry Alan Towers. The storyline follows a gang of criminal men, led by Sir Masius (Wilfred Hyde-White), who join forces with Sumuru, a beautiful and deadly mastermind, with plans to dominate the world. Sumuru is determined to create a female-dominated society and eliminate all men in positions of power.
Frankie Avalon and George Nader star as two American agents tasked with stopping Sumuru and her army of women. However, they find themselves easily distracted by the alluring Sumuru and her seductive powers. Throughout the film, there are multiple action sequences, car chases, and dramatic fights between Sumuru's henchwomen and the male agents.
The film's highlight is the famous "Golden Grotto" scene, where Sumuru invites a group of powerful men to a party at her luxurious lair. During this scene, the men are subjected to various seduction techniques by Sumuru and her women, leading them to become powerless to their influence.
