The Mennonite of the Living Dead follows six friends who have been married for a while and find themselves struggling to keep the spark alive. In an effort to reignite their passion, they plan a weekend getaway to a secluded cabin. However, things take a turn for the worse when they accidentally perform a Satanic sex ritual on the land of an Amish farmer who had passed away.
As a result of the ritual, the farmer's corpse is resurrected, and he goes on a murderous rampage, seeking revenge on those who desecrated his land and disturbed his eternal rest. The friends are forced to band together in order to survive the attack, but as the body count rises, tensions flare between them, and they must confront their own demons and failures in order to make it out alive.
The film is a blend of horror and dark comedy, with a satirical take on the trope of the sex-crazed teenagers being slaughtered in horror films. The Mennonite of the Living Dead also touches on themes of marriage, sexuality, and the pressures of conformity in religious communities. Overall, it is an entertaining and slightly twisted take on the classic zombie film.
