The Man with the Golden Gun is a 1974 spy film based on the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. The film stars Roger Moore as James Bond, Christopher Lee as the villainous Francisco Scaramanga, and Britt Ekland as Mary Goodnight, Bond's ally.
The plot begins when MI6 receives a golden bullet with 007 inscribed on it, indicating that the infamous assassin Scaramanga has set his sights on James Bond. MI6 assigns Bond to find and eliminate Scaramanga before he completes his next assignment, which is rumored to be the assassination of a prominent scientist who has developed a revolutionary new energy source.
Bond follows the trail to a remote island in Thailand where Scaramanga has established a criminal empire, including a private island paradise where he showcases his shooting skills for wealthy clients. Bond infiltrates Scaramanga's organization and enlists the help of the beautiful Goodnight to thwart the villain's plans and prevent a global energy crisis.
