The Man Who Knew Too Little is a comedy film released in 1997, directed by Jon Amiel and starring Bill Murray, Peter Gallagher, and Joanne Whalley. The film tells the story of a naive American named Wallace Ritchie (Bill Murray) who travels to London to visit his brother James (Peter Gallagher).

James gives Wallace a ticket to a theater performance called "Theater of Life", an interactive game where the audience is given clues to solve a mystery. Through a series of comedic mishaps, Wallace becomes involved in an actual espionage plot, thinking it's all part of the game.

Wallace's mistaken identity leads him to be pursued by both MI6 and a group of Russian spies. As he continues to unknowingly interfere with the spy's plans, things quickly spiral out of control. Along the way, Wallace begins to fall for the beautiful actress Lori (Joanne Whalley), who is working with the Russians.

The movie takes place over the course of one night and follows Wallace's hilarious attempts to solve the mystery while inadvertently thwarting the plans of both MI6 and the Russian spies. In the end, it's up to Wallace to save the day and prove that he's not just playing a part in a game.

Filled with hilarious gags and witty one-liners, The Man Who Knew Too Little is a fun-filled comedy that delivers laughs from start to finish.
