The Man of God is a drama film directed by Yelena Popovic and written by Andrew Farago. The movie revolves around Samuel, a young man who grows up in a strict religious household. He feels suffocated by the rigidity of his religious beliefs and decides to break free from his oppressive surroundings.

Samuel moves out of his family home and begins to live his life on his own terms. However, he soon realizes that his past continues to haunt him and his faith remains an integral part of his identity. As he struggles to come to terms with his conflicting beliefs, Samuel embarks on a journey of self-discovery and seeks out the guidance of a wise and compassionate therapy counselor.

Through a series of soul-searching conversations with his counselor, Samuel is able to reconcile his nostalgia for his old life with his newfound spiritual freedom. He learns to let go of his resentment and find forgiveness in his heart. Through his journey, Samuel discovers the beauty of forgiveness, redemption, and the power of faith.

The Man of God features powerful performances from its cast, with Brando Crawford portraying Samuel and Lisa Hinds playing his wise counselor. The film was shot on location in and around Toronto, Canada, and premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival.
