The Man from Laramie Movie Synopsis

The Deadly Deals of Coronado

Western  United States of America

Will Lockhart, a soldier turned rancher from Laramie, Wyoming, arrives in the town of Coronado with a delivery of supplies for the Waggoman ranch. He soon discovers that the town is run by the Waggoman family, led by Alec Waggoman and his son, Dave. Lockhart also finds out that the Waggomans have been feuding with a neighboring family, the Terrills, which has led to violence and bloodshed.

Lockhart becomes friendly with Barbara Waggoman, Alec's daughter, and starts to investigate the mysterious deaths of two of his own men who were delivering supplies to Coronado. He suspects that someone in town is selling rifles to the Apaches, who have been attacking wagon trains and settlers in the area. He also discovers that Dave Waggoman is the one responsible for the gunrunning.

Lockhart confronts Dave and Alec, but they refuse to give up their lucrative business. In a tense confrontation, Lockhart and Dave engage in a fistfight that ends with Dave falling off a high cliff. Alec blames Lockhart for his son's death and orders his men to kill him.

As the tension between the Waggomans and the Terrills escalates, Lockhart becomes a target for both sides. In a final showdown, Lockhart and Vic Hansbro, a Terrill ranch hand, team up to take down the Waggoman ranch. Alec Waggoman is killed and Lockhart rides away from Coronado, leaving behind the town in disarray.

In the end, Lockhart learns that revenge is a dangerous game and that violence only begets more violence. He rides off alone, a solitary cowboy, seeking a new life and new adventure.
