"The Man Called Flintstone" is a 1966 animated comedy film based on the popular TV series "The Flintstones." The film begins in Bedrock, where we see secret agent Rock Slag chasing his arch-nemesis, the Green Goose. During the chase, Slag gets injured, and his boss, Colonel Ed, decides to replace him with Fred Flintstone. The reason being, Fred has a striking resemblance to Slag, and the Green Goose is unaware of Slag's injury.
Thus begins Fred Flintstone's adventure as a secret agent. At first, Fred is hesitant to take on the job, but his wife, Wilma, and their friends, Barney and Betty, convince him to do it. Fred's first mission is to go to Paris and recover the stolen "Rock of Gibraltar," a precious diamond. Accompanied by Wilma, Fred goes to Paris, where he meets Ingrid and Gabby, two of Slag's contacts. Ingrid, who mistakes Fred for Slag, helps him to recover the diamond.
However, the real challenge is yet to come. The Green Goose has constructed a missile that can destroy any city, and it's up to Fred to stop him. Fred travels to Rome, where he goes undercover as a wrestler and meets Shalia Kazam, another one of Slag's contacts. Shalia helps Fred to infiltrate the Green Goose's lair and stop the missile from being launched.
Meanwhile, Wilma, Barney, and Betty are suspicious of Fred's behavior and try to track him down. They eventually discover his secret and rush to Rome to help him. In the end, Fred, with the help of his friends and fellow agents, manages to stop the Green Goose's plan and save the world.
