The Magnificent Seven is a remake of the 1960 classic Western film, which itself was a Western take on Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. The movie follows the story of a group of seven gunslingers who are hired to protect a small town from the greedy and violent industrialist Bartholomew Bogue.
The leader of the group is Sam Chisolm, a warrant officer and bounty hunter played by Denzel Washington.
