The movie begins with the eccentric professor, Dr. Johnathan, selecting four students to accompany him to the mansion of the infamous Mad Hatter. Despite their reservations, the students agree to come along, excited for the opportunity to explore the supposedly haunted house.
Upon their arrival, they are met with strange, shambling caretakers who seem to be more animal than human. The professor assures them that there's nothing to fear, but it quickly becomes apparent that something is not right in this house.
One by one, the students begin to disappear, and those that remain start to suspect that there may be more to the Mad Hatter legend than they thought. As they search for answers, they uncover dark secrets about the Hatter's past and the true nature of the caretakers.
As the group grows increasingly desperate, they start to question the sanity of their own professor. Is he really conducting a scientific experiment, or is he simply using them as guinea pigs to test the limits of madness?
In the end, the surviving students must confront the Hatter himself to put an end to the madness once and for all. But can they truly stop a force that seems to be spreading, infecting everything and everyone in its wake?
