The Lost City is a romantic adventure-comedy film directed by Aaron Nee and Adam Nee. The film centers around a successful romance novelist, Susan (played by Sandra Bullock), who has become reclusive and doesn't leave her house much, until her publisher insists that she finally go on a book tour. On the tour, she is paired up with her book cover model, Milo (played by Channing Tatum), whom she detests due to their past interactions.
During the book tour, Susan and Milo are kidnapped by a group of armed men and taken to South America. They soon realize that they have been taken to Peru's "Lost City of the Incas" where they are caught in the middle of a search for a legendary treasure. Throughout their adventure, the two must work together to escape the dangerous situation they find themselves in, all while navigating their complicated feelings for each other.
In addition to the star-studded cast of Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, The Lost City also features performances by Patti Harrison, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Daniel Radcliffe. The film promises to be both an action-packed adventure and a romantic comedy, with the added bonus of a beautiful South American backdrop.
