The Little Mermaid Live! is an upcoming television special that will feature an animated presentation of the Disney classic, The Little Mermaid, with live musical performances by a star-studded cast. The special will include both beloved songs from the original film, as well as new live performances of songs from the Broadway adaptation of The Little Mermaid.
The cast of The Little Mermaid Live! features Auli’i Cravalho as Ariel, Queen Latifah as Ursula, John Stamos as Chef Louis, Graham Phillips as Prince Eric, and Shaggy as Sebastian. In addition to these main cast members, the special will also feature special guest appearances by Amber Riley, Jacob Tremblay, and others.
The Little Mermaid Live! will be broadcast on ABC on November 5, 2019, and will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and produced by Richard Kraft. The special is set to combine live-action and animation, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
