The Lion Roars No More is based on a true story. The movie follows the life of Hassan, a Muslim teenager who falls in love with Christianity and converts to follow Jesus Christ. His family, who are strict followers of Islam, are furious at his decision and see it as a dishonor to them. They give him an ultimatum to renounce his faith or face the punishment of an honor killing.
Fearing for his life, Hassan flees his home and begins a new life in a different city. He works hard to make ends meet and eventually becomes a prominent social worker, helping other refugees in need. However, deep down, he still feels guilt for abandoning his family and struggles with his faith.
Eight years later, Hassan returns to his hometown to distribute aid to those affected by a natural disaster. While there, he runs into his family, who are shocked to see him alive. His brother, who is now the head of the family, is still angry at Hassan for bringing shame to their family and sees this as an opportunity to restore their honor.
As tensions rise, Hassan must confront his family and face the consequences of his decision to follow Christ. The movie takes audiences on an emotional journey of love, loss, and reconciliation as Hassan tries to bridge the gap between his two worlds.
