Drama  Spain

"The Life" is a dramatic film that tells the story of an anthropology graduate student named Kelly who is researching the lives of women involved in the sex industry. In order to conduct her research, Kelly decides to become a sex worker herself, hoping to gain deeper insight into the lives of those she is studying.

As Kelly immerses herself further and further into the world of prostitution, she finds herself struggling to reconcile her academic pursuits with the emotional toll that her work takes on her. She becomes friends with a fellow sex worker named Veronica, who helps her navigate the dangers and challenges of the job.

As the film progresses, Kelly begins to form close bonds with her clients, many of whom are vying for her affection and attention. She also begins to confront her own preconceptions about the sex industry and the women who work in it, and she grapples with issues of exploitation, empowerment, and agency.

As things come to a head, Kelly must decide whether to remain a part of this world or to distance herself and return to her former life. The film is a powerful exploration of the complexities of sex work and the ways in which it can shape a person's identity and sense of self.
