The story of The Lego Movie follows an ordinary construction worker named Emmet Brickowski who lives his life according to set instructions and follows the rules without question. However, when he stumbles upon the mysterious Piece of Resistance, he is mistaken for the legendary MasterBuilder and recruited by a group of rebels, including Wyldstyle, Batman, and Vitruvius, to stop the evil Lord Business from using the Kragle, a superweapon that can glue the universe together, forever.
