The Haunting of Rosalind Leigh

Horror,Thriller  Canada

Leon (played by Aaron Poole) is a solitary man who spends most of his time collecting and selling antiques. When his estranged mother, Rosalind Leigh, passes away, he inherits her old house in a remote location. Leon decides to visit the house to sort through his mother's belongings and prepare the property for sale.

Upon arriving at the house, Leon realizes that his mother had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult. The walls are covered in strange symbols and there are various objects, including dolls, candles, and photographs, scattered throughout the house. He also finds a letter that his mother left for him, explaining that she had joined the cult in search of spiritual enlightenment and a deeper connection with the universe.

As Leon begins to explore the house, he becomes increasingly alarmed by the eerie atmosphere and mysterious occurrences. He hears strange noises, sees apparitions, and feels a disturbing presence in the house. Leon comes to suspect that his mother's oppressive spirit still lingers within her home and is using items in the house to contact him with an urgent message.

As the days go by, Leon digs deeper into the mystery of his mother's life and the cult she was a part of. He discovers that the cult was led by a charismatic figure who promised its members immortality, but at a great cost. Leon realizes that his mother had made the ultimate sacrifice to the cult and that her spirit is trapped in the house, desperate for release.
