The Last Warrior is a 2017 Russian historical fantasy film directed by Rustam Mosafir. The movie is set in Eastern Europe during the late Iron Age, where the Scythians, one of the most influential tribes, are on the verge of extinction. The few remaining Scythians have become ruthless mercenaries, assassins, and slaves to various Eastern European tribes.
Lutobor, the main character and a Scythian warrior, returns home from a successful battle to find his wife and child missing. Lutobor sets out to find and save his family, but things quickly become complicated when he teams up with a captive Scythian named Marten. While wary of each other at first, Lutobor and Marten develop a friendship and work together to overcome various obstacles.
Their journey is filled with danger as they encounter hostile tribes, brutal weather conditions, and treacherous landscapes. Along the way, they form an unlikely alliance with a fierce warrior woman, Volsa, and a magical priestess, Almysh.
