The Last Unicorn is a 1982 fantasy animated film based on the novel of the same name by Peter S. Beagle. The film follows the journey of the last remaining unicorn as she sets out to find others of her kind who have disappeared. Along the way, she is joined by Schmendrick, a clumsy magician who initially turns her into a human to protect her from harm, and Molly Grue, a woman who has always longed to see a unicorn.

Their journey takes them through a variety of dangerous and fantastical settings, including a haunted forest and a treacherous kingdom ruled by King Haggard, who is obsessed with capturing and imprisoning unicorns. Along the way, they meet a host of interesting characters, including a band of robbers who become their allies.
