The Last Exorcism Part II follows Nell Sweetzer, a teenage girl who is trying to start a new life after the traumatic events that occurred in the first film. Nell is living in a group home for orphaned girls and attends a school where she is trying to make new friends. However, her past haunts her as she starts experiencing supernatural occurrences once again.
Nell's history with demonic possession attracts the attention of a clergyman who believes that she is still possessed by the demon Abalam. Meanwhile, Nell starts developing romantic feelings for a boy at school, Chris, who seems to genuinely care about her. However, her happiness is short-lived as the demon possesses her once again.
As Nell struggles to fight the demon, she realizes that Abalam has a more sinister plan than before. The demon wants to possess Nell permanently and use her as a vessel to give birth to its offspring. With the help of Chris and the clergyman, Nell must face off against the demon once again and hopefully banish it for good.
The Last Exorcism Part II is a supernatural horror film that explores themes of possession, redemption, and the consequences of one's past actions. It was released in 2013 and was directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly.
