The Last Executioner is a biographical drama film based on the life of Chavoret Jaruboon, who was the last person in Thailand to hold the official position of executioner. Known as "The Axe-Man", Chavoret carried out 55 executions over a period of eighteen years, until the practice of capital punishment was abolished in Thailand in 2003.
