The Land That Time Forgot is a 1975 adventure science-fiction film based on the novel of the same name by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film follows the survivors of the sinking British ship, who are taken to the German U-boat as prisoners of war. However, they soon find themselves in grave danger when the submarine goes off course and lands them on the uncharted island of Caprona, where time seems to have stood still.
The island is filled with prehistoric creatures, including dinosaurs, mammoths, and other ferocious beasts that have been extinct for millions of years. Stranded with limited resources, the captives must team up with the German sailors to survive and figure out a way off the island.
They soon encounter a tribe of neanderthals, who are initially hostile but eventually become their allies. As they explore the island and try to find a way home, they discover that Caprona is also home to a group of humans who have somehow been trapped in the prehistoric era for centuries.
As tensions rise between the British and German survivors, they must find a way to put aside their differences and work together if they hope to escape Caprona alive.
