After Littlefoot's grandmother falls ill due to a poisonous plant, Littlefoot learns about the "Wisdoms" from his grandfather. These are a set of guidelines that help the dinosaurs live in harmony with nature. Littlefoot takes it upon himself to teach his friends these lessons, but they are not receptive at first.
Meanwhile, the Beipiaosauruses, Loofah, Doofah, and Foobie arrive in the Great Valley. They behave in a peculiar manner, often repeating words and actions, and are unable to communicate effectively. They express their desire to reach Berry Valley, a place that they have heard about in a song.
Littlefoot and his friends decide to help the Beipiaosauruses, but their journey is not easy. They face many challenges, including crossing a treacherous canyon and encountering a flying Sharptooth. Through these experiences, the gang learns the importance of working together and helping others in need.
As they get closer to Berry Valley, the Beipiaosauruses start to make more sense and reveal the reason behind their behavior. They have a unique way of communicating, using repetitive actions and words, and have their own set of "Wisdoms" to live by. Littlefoot and his friends realize that there is much they can learn from these creatures, and in the end, they all reach Berry Valley together.
