In The Great Valley Adventure, the five dinosaur friends - Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike - are getting bored with their peaceful life in the Great Valley. They decide to build a secret hideaway where they can have some adventure and fun.
While spying on the Sharpteeth, the friends witness two thieves - a pair of egg-stealing mammal-like creatures called "tinysauruses" - stealing an egg from Ducky's family. The friends give chase and manage to recover the egg, but in the process, they accidentally create an opening in the valley that allows two Sharptooths to enter.
The Sharptooths begin wreaking havoc in the valley, terrorizing the inhabitants and causing destruction. The five friends decide they must act to protect their home and the creatures they love. They team up with the tinysauruses, who prove to be good-natured and not as dangerous as they seem, to create a plan to defeat the Sharptooths.
In the end, the friends and their allies are successful in taking down the Sharptooths and restoring peace to the Great Valley. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about cooperation, bravery, and the importance of protecting their community.
