In the movie, a group of young people gather at a bed and breakfast in the Peak District for a weekend getaway. They soon meet Lady Sylvia Marsh, a seductive and enigmatic woman who lives in nearby Temple House and claims that her family has lived in the area for centuries. Lady Sylvia invites the group to a party at Temple House, where they witness her strange and disturbing worship of the ancient god, The White Worm.
As they learn more about the Marsh family's history, the group discovers that they are linked to an ancient cult that worshiped the white worm and sacrificed young virgins to it. Lady Sylvia, it turns out, is still carrying on that tradition and has her sights set on one member of the group, a young woman named Eve.
As the group tries to unravel the mystery of the Marsh family and the white worm, they become embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Lady Sylvia. They must find a way to stop her before she sacrifices Eve to the white worm, unleashing its terrible power on the world.
