In the movie, a group of young people gather at a bed and breakfast in the Peak District for a weekend getaway. They soon meet Lady Sylvia Marsh, a seductive and enigmatic woman who lives in nearby Temple House and claims that her family has lived in the area for centuries. Lady Sylvia invites the group to a party at Temple House, where they witness her strange and disturbing worship of the ancient god, The White Worm.
