The movie begins with an introduction to Alice, a middle-aged widow who has never been able to come to terms with the execution of her husband, John, for a crime he didn't commit. She is seen struggling to come to terms with her bereavement and still deeply in love with her late husband.

One Christmas Eve, she stumbles upon an old book of spells and incantations. Driven by the desire to be with her husband once again, she decides to perform the spell to resurrect him. However, the spell goes horribly wrong, and instead of bringing John back to life, it brings forth an evil entity in the form of a Christmas tree.

The evil tree, possessed by John's vengeful spirit, sets out on a rampage, killing anyone who gets in its way. It seems to have a sinister connection to Alice, and as the body count rises, it becomes clear that the tree is after her.

Desperate to save herself from the wrath of the evil tree, Alice turns to a local priest who is well-versed in ancient spellcasting to help her reverse the spell. Together, they must find a way to stop the tree from continuing its killing spree and put an end to John's restless spirit that's bent on revenge.

In a gripping climax, Alice and the priest confront the tree in a fierce battle, which leads to a shocking twist that nobody expected. The movie ends on a thrilling note, leaving the audience with an eerie feeling of dread that lingers long after the credits have rolled.
