The Killers is a 2010 American action thriller film directed by Robert Luketic and starring Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl. The film revolves around Spencer Aimes (Kutcher), a professional hitman who suddenly finds himself the target of his own employers after they try to kill him.
The film opens with Spencer and his partner, Jen Kornfeldt (Heigl), on a mission to eliminate a former race-car driver named Holbrook (Martin Mull). However, they are puzzled when they discover that Holbrook did not try to escape or defend himself, but rather greeted them with a smile and a glass of milk.
As they try to unravel the mystery behind Holbrook's strange behavior, Spencer and Jen are thrust into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with their own employers, who are determined to silence them before they can uncover the truth.
Along the way, they enlist the help of Spencer's old mentor, a retired hitman named Mr. Black (Tom Selleck), and race against time to uncover a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top of the organization.
