Allyson and Eric are a young couple who have just bought a house with a guest house in the backyard. They decide to rent it out to pay for some of their expenses. Joshua, a handsome and charming man, responds to their ad and offers to pay a higher rent than anyone else.
At first, Joshua seems like the perfect tenant. He keeps to himself and is always polite and respectful. However, as time goes on, Allyson and Eric begin to notice some strange things about him. Joshua is always lurking around the main house, watching them through windows and always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Their suspicion grows when they find a hidden camera in their bedroom and the guest house. Joshua denies any involvement, but when Allyson finds out that his real name is not Joshua, she becomes even more suspicious. When they start to dig deeper into Joshua's past, they discover that he has a criminal record and that he has been involved in some violent incidents in the past.
Things take a turn for the worse when Eric goes missing, and the evidence seems to point to Joshua. Allyson is forced into a race against time to find Eric before it's too late, while Joshua plays a deadly game of cat and mouse with her.
