The hitman, named Maria, is hired by her boss to dispose of an art dealer who has been laundering money for the criminal organization. However, during the hit, Maria becomes enamored with a particular piece of artwork that the dealer possesses. She steals it and runs away.
Unbeknownst to Maria, the artwork ends up being a sensation in the art world, with critics hailing it as a masterpiece of the avant-garde movement. The criminal organization that Maria works for realizes they can exploit this newfound fame to launder even more money through the art world.
Maria is caught between a rock and a hard place as she tries to balance her duties as a hitman with the demands of her new art career. Along the way, she meets an art dealer who takes her under his wing and teaches her the ins and outs of the art world. Maria also catches the attention of a wealthy collector who becomes obsessed with her work.
As Maria's fame grows, her boss becomes increasingly suspicious of her loyalties. The tension comes to a head in a final showdown at an art exhibit, where Maria must decide whether to side with her new art world allies or stick with the criminal organization that has been her life for so long.
