In "The Kangaroo Conspiracy," cabaret artist Marc-Uwe and his anthropomorphic kangaroo roommate find themselves in a predicament when Maria's mother, Lisbeth, becomes a climate change denier on the internet. To make matters worse, they make a bet with each other that if they fail to convince Lisbeth otherwise, they will lose their apartment.

In an attempt to bring Maria's mother to her senses, Marc-Uwe and the kangaroo decide to attend the Conspiracy Convention in Bielefeld. Little do they know, this decision leads them down an unexpected path. They unintentionally become entangled in a real-life conspiracy orchestrated by Adam Krieger, a prominent conspiracy guru, and his devoted followers.

As the two friends immerse themselves in the conspiracy world, they quickly realize that the stakes have risen beyond just saving their apartment. They discover that Krieger's conspiracy has delved into dangerous territories and threatens not only their livelihood but also their lives.
