The movie is set in a dystopian future where the government holds a yearly televised event known as "The Jurassic Games." In this event, ten death row convicts are selected from across the country to participate in a virtual reality game that transports them to a prehistoric world where they must fight for survival against a variety of deadly dinosaurs.
