The Jungle Book 2 is a 2003 animated adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Steve Trenbirth. It is the sequel to the 1967 film The Jungle Book, and is based on the second Jungle Book novel by Rudyard Kipling.
The story picks up where the first film left off, with Mowgli living in the man-village and struggling to fit in. He longs to return to the jungle and his animal friends, especially Baloo and Bagheera. One day, he sneaks away from the village and sets off on his own.
On his journey, Mowgli reunites with Baloo, who is overjoyed to see him. But their reunion is cut short when a vengeful Shere Khan appears, determined to kill Mowgli once and for all. With the help of his friends and some new allies, Mowgli must fight to protect himself and his jungle home.
Along the way, Mowgli learns valuable lessons about friendship, loyalty, and the importance of being true to oneself. The film features new songs by composer Joel McNeely, as well as a number of classic tunes from the original Jungle Book.
