The Invisible is a 2007 supernatural thriller directed by David S. Goyer. The film follows Nick Powell (played by Justin Chatwin), a high school student who is brutally attacked and left for dead by a group of thugs after he discovers that his childhood friend, Annie Newton (played by Margarita Levieva), is involved in their criminal activities.

However, instead of dying, Nick finds himself trapped in a state of limbo, invisible to the living but still able to observe them. As he struggles to understand his new reality, he realizes that he must find a way to communicate with the living in order to prevent his body from being found and buried, which would lead to his permanent disappearance.

Desperate and alone, Nick begins to seek out the help of others, including his mother and a Goth girl named Pete (played by Alex O'Loughlin), who can see and hear him due to her own supernatural abilities. However, as time runs out and Nick's condition worsens, he realizes that the only person who might be able to save him is Annie, who is the only one who knows where his body is hidden.

Determined to find Annie and convince her to help him, Nick embarks on a dangerous journey through the criminal underworld, facing danger and violence at every turn. As he delves deeper into the mystery of his attack and the secrets of Annie's past, Nick must confront his own inner demons and find the courage to fight for his own survival.
