The Indian in the Cupboard is a 1995 family-adventure film based on the popular children's book by Lynne Reid Banks. The movie tells the story of Omri, a young boy who receives a unique and magical gift from his best friend, Patrick, on his ninth birthday. The gift is a small plastic Indian figure accompanied by a metal cupboard which can bring the toy (or any other small object placed inside) to life.
